The bourbon barrel aged edition of Mikkeller's Beer Geek Brunch is a coffee oatmeal stout extravaganza.

It is an improvement of the improved - a refinement of the refined. Despite being both raucous and ambitious it is a beer in perfect balance. Coffee, hops and bourbon make up the Holy Trinity on a black and solid base of malt and oats.

This is a grand cru, it is first class and it doesn't get any better than this.

Ingredients : Water, malts, hops, yeast and Vietnamese ca phe chon coffee. The beer is aged 3 months in bourbon barrels.
